Original vintage 1944 movie poster insert (14”x36”) for “Meet the People” & 1949 Film Lobby Card (11”x14”) for “Miss Grant Takes Richmond” are unrestored, have no tape & are overall in very fine condition. The poster has minor wear to folds & borders plus a couple creases in left & right border & a small tear in the lower left hand border into caricature above credit for Vaughn Moore. There are a few faint red ink smudges at upper right. (see photos) It is in quite good condition & will display very well. The vividly designed poster features great images of Lucille Ball in close-up & in a Las Vegas showgirl-like costume that is really eye-catching. The rare Lobby Card contains a wonderful close-up of Lucille Ball with her co-star William Holden & has very minor edge wear but is otherwise in beautiful condition & displays very well.
Lucille Ball was a successful B-Movie actress at RKO & MGM in the1930’s & 1940’s before becoming the “Queen of Television” for her classic “I Love Lucy”.
